Hi, I’m Dorian. I’ve been teaching people to drive for over 30 years, and I now teach in Luton, Dunstable and Houghton Regis.
In 30 years, I’ve taught all kinds of learners: nervous beginners, people who’ve failed before, and people who’ve lost confidence after a bad experience with another instructor. One thing comes up again and again. People don’t lack ability. They’ve just never had things explained properly.
So I don’t just tell you what to do. I explain why, in plain English, step by step, until it makes sense. When you understand why, you stop second-guessing yourself and start driving like a proper driver.
Alongside driving lessons, I’ve spent the last 10 years teaching the theory test, and I’ve helped over 1,000 learners pass through my YouTube channel and online courses at Driving Theory UK. That means I know exactly where learners get stuck, both on the theory and in the car, and my pupils get help with both.
I’m also licensed by the DVSA to use their official training material, which means I get a heads-up on changes to the theory test before they happen, including new questions being added and old ones being removed. So my pupils are always learning from the latest material.
Once you’re driving, we practise on the real roads around Luton Test Centre, following the sat nav just like the examiner will on the day. If you’re testing at Letchworth, Stevenage or Leighton Buzzard, we’ll get out on those routes too where we can. By test day, nothing should come as a surprise.
