Most learners are taught to drive. I teach you to pass. Here’s the three-step system I use with every pupil.
The theory test holds up everything else, so we don’t leave it to chance. You’ll get free access to my Driving Theory UK YouTube channel, and you can ask me anything during your lessons. I’ll go through questions with you on the iPad in the car, explaining the why behind the answers so they actually stick.
We don’t just drive around. Your assessment lessons take place around Luton Test Centre, following the sat nav just like the examiner will on the day. By the time you take your test, the roundabouts, junctions and tricky spots will already feel familiar.
Before your test, we’ll do mock tests so you know exactly what to expect and how you’ll be marked. Taking your test further out, at Letchworth, Stevenage or Leighton Buzzard? Where it’s within reach, we’ll head down and do a mock test on those routes too.
Every lesson with me follows the same simple standard. If I don’t deliver it, you don’t pay for that lesson.
✅ Friendly and patient. No rushing, no pressure, and no question is too small.
✅ Comfortable and at ease. You should feel relaxed in the car, not on edge.
✅ A clear objective. Set it in the app before your lesson, or we’ll agree it together before we pull away.
✅ A recap after every lesson. We go over what we covered and what to work on next, so you always know where you stand.
If I fall short: send me a WhatsApp message within 24 hours of the lesson and tell me what went wrong. I’ll refund that one lesson. Refunds don’t apply to test-day lessons.
Pick a time in the calendar and pay in advance, and I’ll confirm by message. The Total Drive app sends you a reminder before each lesson. Open it to confirm you’re coming, or cancel there if you can’t make it.
We’ll have a chat about your experience, then I’ll take you somewhere quiet to ease into it. You’ll get comfortable with me and the car before we go anywhere busy.

We’ll practise the Luton test routes, so the roads aren’t a surprise. Before your test, we’ll drive around and get you settled in.
If you pass, I’ll ask if you’d like a photo and a few words for the website. Your review goes up alongside the others, so the next learner can see how it all turns out.

All lessons are two hours long and cost £70. If you book a block of 10 hours (five lessons) in advance, it’s £330, which saves you £20 and secures your regular slot. All lessons are paid for in advance.
By the time we’ve got going, especially if you’re new and I take you somewhere quiet first, a one-hour lesson is nearly over. In two hours you get real driving time, and in my experience it takes at least a third longer to learn on one hour a week. A one-hour lesson can look cheaper, but it often costs more in the long run.
No, lessons are manual only.

Mainly Luton, but test waiting times mean pupils book wherever they can get a date, and I’ll travel with them to Leighton Buzzard, Stevenage, Letchworth and further where possible.
Yes, you must have your provisional licence before your first lesson.
No, you can start lessons straight away and learn your theory alongside. You’ll need to pass it before you can book your practical test, and I’ll help you with that.
It’s different for everyone. We’ll check your progress as we go, and I’ll only suggest booking your test when you’re ready.
That’s exactly where we start. Your first lesson is somewhere quiet, with no pressure and no traffic.
Everything is done in the Total Drive app. It reminds you before your lesson, and you can confirm you’re coming or cancel there, or send me a message through the app. I’ll take the lesson out of the diary. Cancel with at least 48 hours’ notice and there’s no charge. Less than that, and the lesson is still charged. You can still take it, or have it removed from the diary, but the fee stays the same.
Send me a WhatsApp message within 24 hours and I’ll refund that one lesson. I’d rather put it right than have you keep paying for something that isn’t working.
Yes, once I say you’re ready. You’ll need the right insurance in place for learner driver use first.
Yes. My intensive courses are built around you, not one size fits all. Depending on your experience and what you need, that could be four or six hours a day, from a short mini-intensive to brush up before a test through to a full course. Message me and we’ll work out the right plan for you.
